    The chest of drawers is in very good condition. Some of the brass have been replaced with new holes drilled to fit them with the old holes plugged. Some of the brass back plates for the pulls have been replaced, most look to be of the period, but some are modern. There is surface damage on the bottom of the right side of the piece, it looks to be fairly old but can be easily seen. There are various other losses, surface imperfections to include scratches, cracks, and minor restorative work that one would expect to find on a genuine piece of this age.
