    On offer is a very rare English jointed and pegged cupboard. Its upper stage composed of a charming carved frieze over a stunning central arcaded flower panel and applied corbels with further scroll and flower head decoration to the doors flanked by characteristic bulbous supports.

    The larger lower stage with shelf fitted midway to the interior, with huge storage capacity and also decorated with a myriad of pretty carvings including traditional lunette pattern to the frieze, daisy flowers, fruit and foliage to the stiles and upper door panels and double heart motif to lower door panels. The cupboard, just oozing aged related charm, makes quite the impression.

    The piece splits into two pieces for easier transportation.

    Condition: This item is nearly 300 years old and has some minor wear, old repairs and imperfections including age related cracks, and old (likely very old) wood worm damage. Additionally, there has been various restoration completed over the years. With this in mind, some parts are likely later in age, including the plinth at the bottom. Overall, a strong and sturdy piece with a lot of storage.
