  • This beautiful traditional English gate-leg table, crafted in rich, aged oak with an old, warm patina dates from roughly 1670, a time when gate-leg tables were widely popular for their practicality and design versatility. .     Condition: The table is in very good antique condition. There is some separation of the boards due to age related shrinkage. There are also some old repairs that can be seen with one particularly noticeable old (likely 19th Century) patch to the center board. There are other stains and surface imperfections that can be easily seen on the pics, which one would expect to find on a piece of this age, but overall a wonderful piece made from very heavy solid oak so it's very sturdy.
